Hello whoever you may be.

It’s nice to see people are dropping by to this blog. I love this stats page that wordpress has. Lets me see how many people come to read (or maybe just skim, or maybe skip completely) this blog. The amazing thing is, i get plenty hits every now and then.

So… well… leave a comment! I’d love to hear your thoughts about the things I bring up or even just to say hi or correct punctuation and grammatical errors on my posts.

If you’re in the closet as well, say hi or something.

You may have noticed I talk about guys I meet or how I live life generally while I”m here. I intended that. Things may get graphical sometimes but I’ll try to keep the gory/exciting details to a bare minimum (I will not completely leave them out of this, no).

So thanks for dropping by and I hope you come back to read my stuff.

YNOT: it is interesting. it’s a work in progress and I’m sorta glad to be here right now. It’s a world of extremes put in one single place and you see this kind of conflict everyday.

I’d love to tell you where I’m from but when I created this blog, I told myself I wouldn’t tell people where I came from, or what culture I belong. I believe in shared experiences that transcends culture and race.

Hey…im the same age as you..recently got a job offer in Dubai…I’m very very tempted to go, but for all the research I do…it still looks like Dubai is an incredibly empty and lonely place…All the fantasic buildings are surrounded by nothing but concrete, all the markets seem empty, the beach promenades are beautiful but eerily empty as well….Is this how dubai is? I dont want to go out there if its just going to be lonely…I’m used to Los Angeles type living. Get back to me…your posts are very interestesing and i value your opinion…Thanks

Jon: It’s not empty and lonely. It’s just that those pictures you see are devoid of people cause it was probably taken during summer (people like to escape the 45 degree celsius temp). I don’t find dubai lonely at all. Streets are busy, malls are teeming, offices are chaotic, gym’s packed. If you can come over, come. I mean if you’re doing a short term contract with that company who gave you the offer why don’t you give it a shot? You know anyone who’s already working here?
