It's just that those pictures you see are devoid of people cause it was probably taken during summer (people like to escape the 45 degree celsius temp). I don't find dubai lonely at all. Streets are busy, malls are teeming, offices are chaotic, gym's packed. If you can come over, come. I mean if you're doing a short term contract with that company who gave you the offer why don't you give it a shot? You know anyone who's already working here? I dont want to go out there if its just going to be lonely...I'm used to Los Angeles type living.
